Pasture Raised Turkey
Our flock of Pasture Raised Turkeys spend their summer foraging for grasses,
grains and insects on our pastures; this healthy lifestyle imparts to them a deep, rich taste.
Along with the fresh air and sunshine, the birds are fed a ration of local wheat, corn, oats, alfalfa as well as soymeal, minerals and vitamins. Our birds are moved to a new area of pasture every week providing them fresh forage and lots of space. This labor intensive method is better for the birds and the pastures on our multispecies farm.
Our Broad Breasted Bronze turkey, which is a cross between the Heritage Bronze turkey and the Broad Breasted White turkey, has more white meat and the cooking characteristics that you’re familiar with; while also providing that rich, clean flavor provided by the pasture lifestyle. The birds will be dressed out at the end of October and frozen.
When you prepare our turkey for your holiday meal, you’ll be amazed at how tender and juicy the bird is; making it a memorable one for you and yours.

I wanted to let you know that the turkey was FANTASTIC!! Everyone loved it and could easily tell the difference between the fresh farm raised and the store bought ones. -- Maridel
Mark, I’ve been meaning to tell you that our turkey was the best that I’ve ever cooked -- I brined it like you suggested and it was absolutely delicious. Thanks so much for helping make our
