Our land consists of a variety of parcels. Each type is farmed according to best practices and most efficient use. Our flat, tillable acreage is in fruit and vegetable crops, the rolling ground is grazed as pasture, the woodlands with native trees and creeks are foraged and our wetland areas are put into conservation.
Pasture-raised is not just about what goes into the animals. Even more than that, pasturing is a method that looks at the good of soil, herbage, animals, and people, tapping into the the strengths and requirements of each. Pasturing is about cultivation.
Our animals all play a role on our farm. The variety of species is beneficial to the land helping us best utilize and care for each type of parcel. In turn, the land is able to offer perfect habitat for the various animal species. This cycle then produces a diverse product offering to you, our customers.
